Job Title: Instrumental Music Teacher (Piano, Guitar, and Violin)
Role Overview
We are seeking qualified and reliable Instrumental Music Teachers to teach piano, guitar, and violin to children in school-based programs. The teacher will deliver lessons using our established curriculum, track learner progress, and prepare students for performances throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach instrumental music lessons to children in line with the organization’s curriculum
- Deliver structured, age-appropriate, and engaging lessons in group settings
- Assess learner progress and maintain accurate records
- Prepare and submit end-of-term learner reports
- Rehearse and prepare learners for performances, showcases, and school events
- Manage classes effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
- Care for and use teaching equipment responsibly
- Communicate professionally with the program coordinator when required
Requirements
- A degree, diploma, or ABRSM certificate in Music (or equivalent)
- Proficiency in one of the following instruments: piano, guitar, or violin
- Experience teaching children is an added advantage
- Availability to work Monday to Friday during school terms
- Ability to follow a structured curriculum and meet reporting deadlines
- Strong classroom management, engagement, and communication skills
- Professional, reliable, and child-centered approach to teaching
- Driving experience is an added advantage but not required

Working Conditions
